It’s the kind of place where you sense the morning ritual unfolding gently, from early risers grabbing their morning brew to weekend visitors unwinding over a leisurely breakfast.

The pace here is thoughtful and attentive, with a vibe that balances the gentle bustle of a neighborhood favorite and the calm rhythm of a space that knows its regulars well. The Junction’s connection to coffee is heartfelt, proudly serving Pablo & Rusty’s beans—a nod to its roots and a promise of quality in every cup. There’s a comforting warmth in the way the espresso bar hums, pulling in those craving a perfectly made large cappuccino or a delicately sweet hot caramel latte that invites slow sips and quiet reflection.

Breakfast at The Junction unfolds as a thoughtfully curated experience rather than a rushed meal. Whether it’s the satisfying mix of flavors in a Breafast Board or the textured contrast of crushed avocado topped with tomato dukkah and creamy goats’ feta on fresh ciabatta, each bite speaks of familiarity elevated by subtle care. Conveniently located at the Plaza in Lane Cove, The Junction Coffee Co is a dog friendly cafe with outdoor seating and a substantial menu which you won’t have any trouble choosing from. A small space, but very popular. It was formerly Pablo & Rusty’s which could be the reason they serve Pablo & Rusty’s Coffee as well as sell their beans. Chef Daniel is extremely experienced, having works all over the world. He’s created a menu with a variety of dishes to suit all diners. They have a hugely instagrammable breakfast degustation, veggie board and French toast to name a few. Food is nutritious, well seasoned, tasty and nicely presented. We shared two dishes, the smashed avo with tomato, dukkah, goats feta on ciabatta. So colourful and even healthy. It was a cold weekend so we also shared the porridge with cinnamon, cashew nuts, seasonal fruit. The coffee is good, using Pablo and Rusty’s beans. We had a mocha as well as a Daintree chai with soy milk + honey - Specialty of the house. Staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. This will be sure to maintain popularity with the locals and visitors alike.

Love the food and service here. The only thing I would point was to put less dressing on the omelette, which was delicious

We do love a good outdoor corner cafe… small, attentive, alfresco, good food & hot caramel latte coffee. The food was great, quick tasty & hot! No complaints & looking forward to returning.
